1. UPDATED ROUTE OUTLINE

Unless otherwise stated all details are subject to change.

Thursday 10 September

In a change to the schedule for Thursday, we now leave Bordeaux and head towards our morning check point at Château Kirwan with a tour of the winery before a 20 minute ferry ride from Lamarque to Blaye.

A short drive takes us to visit the home of Courvoisier, in a stunning location on the banks of the Charente river, for a tour and a tasting of the legendary cognac.  Our afternoon check point at the Circuit des Ramparts at Angoulême finishes the day before our overnight halt at Poitiers.

Due to the remote location of the hotel, dinner will again be provided as part of the accommodation package by Kuoni.

Friday 11 September

To allow all participants enough time to enjoy unlimited laps of Le Mans Circuit, the itinerary of our final day has been amended slightly.  Chatellerault Motor Museum has been replaced with a visit to the beautiful 16th century Château of Azay-le-Rideau.  Built on an island in the Indre River, its foundations rise straight out of the water.

Due to the anticipated heavy traffic in the town of Tours, we will now be travelling directly from the château to Le Mans.

A motorway run will lead us from Le Mans to the event finish and Gala Dinner in Versailles.

A revised route map is attached.

2. ENTRY LIST

The list of entries received is now available and will be regularly updated.  We currently have 88 confirmed entries with more expected.

3. FERRIES

If you wish to book an outbound Plymouth to Santander crossing through the Organisers, then download the Ferry Booking Form.  Please note that we have now sold out of Commodore, Deluxe and 2 Berth Outside cabins.

All participants are reminded to ensure they make their own arrangements for return travel to the UK.
