The “Michelin” – map of Scandinavia covers the whole route and is not too large a scale, but if you want the detailed maps which I use, you will require.

 

NORWAY : The “Cappelens Kart” 1 and 2 ( scale 1:335 000 ) . number one is …. No.1 Sor-Norge sor. , and the second one is …. No 2. Sor-Norge nord.  

 

 

We will provide a map covering the route from Geiranger to Kristiansund, so there is no need to buy No. 3 More og Trondelag. As an alternative the “Freytag and Berndt” map of Norway is also good, and covers the whole route, but the scale is almost twice as small at 1:600 000.  

 

 

SWEDEN : As we are only in Sweden for one and a half days any of the Swedish maps covering Southern Sweden from Karlstad to Malmo will suffice. ( Whilst we will not be going into Karlstad the map covering this area and to the South will be OK ).
