Documentation in Plymouth

 

The previously advised time for this was 10.00 hours to 16.00 hours. This is revised to 10.00 hours to 14.00 hours, as the latest checking in time for the ferry is 15.00 hours.  

 

DAY 1 – Monday 7th September  

 

VITORIA GASTEIZ  

The Official event Welcome Reception will be held at 15.00 hours in the Town Hall, 300m from the Pza de los Fueros where we are parking. ‘People arrows’ (yellow) will define the route.  

 

PAMPLONA  

Overnight parking is close to the NH Iruna Park Hotel. Security guards will be in attendance at this location between 19.00 hours and 07.00 hours.  

 

Dinner from 20.00 hours is included for participants booking via Kuoni at the NH Iruna Park Hotel.  

 

DAY 2 – Tuesday 8th September  

 

ISABA  

Morning refreshments are being provided by the event and there will be a Welcome by the Mayor.  

 

PAU ARNOS CIRCUIT  

A light lunch is being provided by the event at the circuit.  

 

PAU  

The overnight parking location is at the Palais Beaumont. Security guards will be in attendance at this location between 19.00 hours and 08.30 hours. This is also the location of our Mid-Event dinner, commencing at 21.00 hours.  

 

For participants staying at the Beaumont Parc Hotel, this is located a short walk from the Palais Beaumont.  

 

For participants staying at the Hotel Navarre (just over a mile away), a shuttle bus for the dinner has been arranged to start at 20.30 hours and will return from 23.15 hours.  

 

For participants staying the Mercure (3.3 miles), you can either leave your vehicle at the overnight parking location or you may wish to drive to your hotel, where there is ample parking, but no security. If you drive to the hotel, you do not need to return to the overnight parking location in the morning to re-start, instead picking up the route on Page 301 (3.30 miles). A shuttle service will be provided to and from the Mid-Event dinner.  

 

DAY 3 – Wednesday 9th September  

 

NOGARO CIRCUIT  

A buffet lunch will be provided by the event at the circuit in the VIP Hall from 12.30 hours.  

 

BORDEAUX  

Overnight parking is at the Allee de Tourny and security guards will be in attendance between 19.30 hours and 07.30 hours. The Regent Hotel is next to this location (Page D of PDF  - see below).  

 

Participants staying at the Burdigala Hotel can drive to the hotel (approximately 1.5 miles). There is secure garage parking at this location (Page D of PDF  - see below).  

 

There are no official dinner arrangements this evening.  

 

DAY 4 – Thursday 10th September

 

POITIERS  

Overnight parking is near the Plaza Hotel in Futuroscope (Page 419). Security guards will be in attendance at this location between 19.30 hours until 07.30 hours.  

 

A shuttle bus will be available to return drivers to the hotel following passenger and luggage drop off (Page 419). The following morning the shuttle bus will take participants and their luggage to the car park (about 250 yards).  

 

Dinner from 20.00 hours is included for participants booking via Kuoni at the Plaza Futuroscope.  

 

DAY 5 – Friday 11th September  

 

RICHELIEU  

There will be an Official Welcome by the Mayor with refreshments provided.  

 

VERSAILLES  

Our final parking location has now been confirmed and will be at the Hotel de Ville (new Page 519), opposite the Pullman Versailles Hotel. Security guards will be in attendance at this location between 19.00 and 08.00 hours. Please note that cars must be removed by 10.00 hours on Saturday 12th September.  

 

We will be greeted by The Mayor of Versailles with a welcome drink at 18.30 hours.  

 

Our End of Event Gala Dinner will be held in the Hotel de France starting at 21.00 hours, approximately a five minute walk from our overnight hotel (Pullman Versailles). Please let the event officials know if this short walk may cause you difficulty and transport arrangements will be made.

AMENDMENTS TO PUBLISHED ROUTE BOOK  

Please see the attached Participants Hotels, Overnight Parking and Route Amendments, which you may wish to mark in your route books in advance. This information will also be issued at documentation.  

 

PLEASE REMEMBER TO WEAR YOUR PARTICIPANT PASS THROUGHOUT THE EVENT AS THIS IS YOUR MEANS OF IDENTIFICATION AND ADMISSION. THIS INCLUDES WELCOME RECEPTIONS AND OFFICIAL DINNERS.
